an all new, teardown construction in saratoga

Truly honored and excited to design an all-new home for a unique steeply sloped property in Saratoga! The clients were keen on exploring two different architectural styles for their exterior.

Which option would you choose for an identical floor layout?

A Contemporary Prairie-style house with a standing metal seam roof, large roof overhangs, and stone and wood siding, coupled with smooth stucco walls. The windows are more horizontal with larger glass expanses.

A Traditional Spanish-style house that incorporates a textured white stucco wall, recessed windows with wood cills, a red tiled roof with rafter details under the roof, and Spanish-style balcony details to accentuate the elevation.
