An active older couple close to retirement are investing in their aging home so they can continue to enjoy it for the coming years without having to relocate.

The clients are looking to add 500-700 SF of space to their home to accommodate an open floor plan for the public spaces and an additional master suite which could potentially serve an AirBNB guest when they travelled.

To optimize cost and budget we are exploring better use of the garage location and offsetting the parking requirement by creating a new carport which is approved by the local zoning rules.
